Information on average weekly earnings is provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics through the Employee Earnings and Hours (EHH) survey. This information is classified by occupation (Unit Group ANZSCO 4-digits), sex and average age.
The EEH survey is conducted every two years and provides detailed statistics on the composition and distribution of employee earnings, hours paid for and the methods used to set employees' pay.
Displayed table corresponds to the last statistics released on 22 January 2019 by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The data contains estimates from the 2018 Survey of Employee Earnings and Hours (EEH) which was conducted with respect to the last pay period on or before 18 May 2018.
