Working & Skills Visas

To allow visa holders to enter Australia temporarily or permanently to live and work in the country. Work visas are for skilled workers, people participating in specific activities, highly specialized workers, experienced business people, investors, sponsored workers etc.

Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

The Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) visa is a permanent resident visa for points-tested skilled workers who want to work and live in Australia.

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

The Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa is a permanent resident visa for points-tested skilled workers who have received State or Territory government nomination and want to work and live in Australia.

Skilled Work Regional Visa (Subclass 491)

The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (Subclass 491) visa is a provisional visa for intending migrants who are interested in either State or Territory government regional nomination or have a family member in regional Australia who can sponsor them.

Skilled Graduate Visa (Provisional) (Subclass 485)

The Temporary Graduate (Subclass 485) visa allows for the entry of recent international graduates to Australia for the purpose of living, studying or working in Australia on a temporary basis.

Skilled Regional Visa (Residence) (Subclass 887)

The purpose of the Skilled Regional (Residence) Subclass 887 visa is to enable provisional General Skilled Migration visa holders to apply for permanent residency. This visa is a permanent visa pathway from the Skilled Regional (provisional) Subclass 489 visa.

Temporary Skill Shortage TSS Visa (Subclass 482)

The Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (Subclass 482) is a temporary employer-sponsored visa thus an eligible sponsor is required. The purpose of this visa is to allow Australian employers to nominate highly skilled professionals for temporary visas.

Employer Nomination Scheme Visa (Subclass 186)

The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) (Subclass 186) visa is a permanent employer-sponsored visa. The purpose of this visa is to allow Australian employers to nominate highly skilled professionals for permanent visas.

Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional Visa (Subclass 494)

The Skilled Employer Regional Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (Subclass 494) visa is a provisional employer-sponsored visa. The purpose of this visa is to allow businesses which are actively and lawfully operating in Regional Australia to nominate highly skilled professionals for provisional visas.

Skilled Regional Permanent Residence Visa (Subclass 191)

The Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (Subclass 191) is designed to enable provisional GSM (Subclass 491) and SESR (Subclass 494) visa holders who have met specific residence and work requirements to apply for a permanent visa.

Temporary Activity Visa (Subclass 408)

The Temporary Activity (Subclass 408) visa allows for entry of visa holders to Australia for the purpose of working on a short-term basis in specific areas or participating in activities such as social, cultural and research activities or international events.

Distinguished Talent Visa (Subclass 124)
