Information on average weekly earnings is provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics through the Employee Earnings and Hours (EHH) survey. This information is classified by occupation (Unit Group ANZSCO 4-digits), sex and average age.
The EEH survey is conducted every two years and provides detailed statistics on the composition and distribution of employee earnings, hours paid for and the methods used to set employees' pay.
Displayed table corresponds to the last statistics released on 19 January 2017 by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The data includes the information collected from the 2016 EEH survey, which was conducted with respect to the last pay period on or before 20 May 2016.
